I just got the Pre Plus, and I'm not overly happy with it (the Treo was so much easier to control quickly), but maybe I'll keep it anyway.  You can help, if you can clear up for me what's going on in Gmail.

Problem 1 is that the search string for my favorite view of new and current messages is a combination of several conditions:
    is:unread -label:Dreck -label:Deferred
(that's an exclusion of those two labels).  And when I enter that string in the search box in Gmail for Mobile, it totally flunks.  The phone goes blank gray for 20-30 seconds, and dumps me back in an Inbox view.  Do any of y'all have experience getting through something like this?

(I should note that a search string with any two of those three conditions works correctly.)

Problem 2 is that even for a search string that works correctly, I can't bookmark it.  If I open a bookmarked Gmail search, the result again dumps me into the Inbox, regardless of the contents of the search string.

Any advice?
