If  I go to a site with Pre wallpapers, how do I get the wallpaper onto my phone? I figured there would be an option to download it directly, but I never see that option on any site. I hate to sound like a moron, but how do you go about getting a wallpaper onto your phone?

AFAIK you have to download that picture with a computer and load it onto your Pre via USB mass storage.

Unfortunately there's no "save as" yet. You could also try save a picture with a screenshot: Orange button + Shift (or Symbol) + P. This will put a screenshot in your photos, under screencaptures I think.

This just recently got added in one of the updates. The OP was back in July. There was no fancy way to do it back then.
