Hi all. Just got my Pre yesterday and am pretty happy so far. I would like to connect to my yahoo mail account, strictly through the web page, no pop etc. Just login to the web page. I cannot log in , it doesn't seem to recognize username/password combo, which works fine on my laptop. Same issue with my yahoo homepage (my.yahoo.com)

is there any rationale for this? I understand problems with downloading contacts and mail, but shouldn't I be able to open the web page and get authenticated?

As an aside, I am using web-based exchange/outlook over ssl for my work email and it logs in flawlessly.

Thanks in advance

I just went into the web browser and logged into my yahoo email just fine. Does it say that the username or password is incorrect?

Ive used the webpage many times myself with no problem.  Maybe it is a symbol in the password that you are typing wrong?

Mine works fine as well...actually better than my notebook, which for some reason won't keep me logged in when I close the browser - Pre does this just fine for me...I am always logged in.

You may want to make sure the first character you are typing in is not capitalized (default on the Pre) if it is not supposed to be.

Thanks everyone for the help. Got it working last night. Not exactly sure what was wrong but it logged in as expected.

Thanks for the quick replies
