Author Topic: WebOS 1.2 download was interrupted!  (Read 466 times)

I did a manual search for updates and the WebOS 1.2 update was found and began downloading, but the download never finished and I lost signal.  Now, it says my phone is up to date and I can't download the update.  I'm not sure if it's still background downloading, but is there any way to clear the download cache or something to try and get it again?  Thanks.

Did you try the search immediately after your phone lost service. I know that it tells you that it downloads it when you have a fast connection and/or are idle(or something like that). SO it probably just downloaded and installed it when it got the connection back.

Did you check the version # in device info? Maybe it installed when you weren't paying attention, the PRE is sneaky like that Smiley

Well, if you cant find a solution, there is always the webOS doctor that will flash your phone to the new version, but it will also wipe out all your info and you will have to start from scratch (I had to do this, but it was because my phone was FUBAR because of installing over top of tweaks).

Thanks for the info...the phone has at least managed to see the update again now (by no means of mine I can assure you) but it can't connect.  I'm guessing that's just a server issue, but it's nothing that can't wait until later.

I had to try a couple times before it would connect. Too many people updating all at once, I guess....
