in a text message how can i hit enter to not send the message but i want it to go to the next line
or go down so that i can add more to my message

my work requires me to basically send a list of items but when i hit enter it sends one line
i want to hit enter to start a new line
basically itll look like a list

here's an example:
eggs
bacon
milk

but i need this to all be in one message not multiple messages

help please?
