Just swapped out my first pre for a second one, and now here is the situation that is occurring.

whenever the phone is charging, whether it is via a PC or electrical outlet, the screen continually lights up. 

So i plug it in, screen lights up to indicate charging with icon in lower right, then the screen times out and goes black as normal.  about 20 seconds later, screen lights back up again, as if a txt message hit or i am about to receive a call.  Nothing though of course.  After the timeout, goes black again, then a few seconds later lights back up.

It's fine when not being charged, so the screen stays off until awakened due to external activity.  Txt msg, incoming call, me activating, etc...

any thoughts?

no, I did not. 

I was also having this problem....Found out that the part going into my phone was loose...Have you tried using a different charger with it?

thanks guys.  Putting in an order to riteav.com to get some extra cables.  I've been meaning to do that anyway.
