Palm Pre Forum - problem with screen

Hi everyone,
I just wondering if anybody has same problem like me. I don't touch nothing and palm just start like pressing all over the screen. It's really annoying. I can not do anything, and it just start calling or starting applications, or changing to airplane mode itself. I found one video on youtube and is about the same what i having on my palm.

Please anyone know what can be wrong with it?

Have you tried a soft reset?

You might try messaging the person who made the vid and see how they fixed it.

1. Try a hard reset (open launcher, go to 3rd page, tap "device info", tap "reset options", tap "full erase")

2. If 1 doesn't work I would recommend using webos doctor on it (Sprint, Bell)

3. If neither 1 nor 2 work I think this would be covered under warranty, so I would just get it replaced

I tried hard reset as well, but it was still same. I called today for replacement, so tomorrow i should get new one.

I have the same problem (location: Spain), the touch-screen is going crazy, apart from opening and closing applications, the worst part is when it starts making phonecalls randomly.... it's awful.

I have unsuccesfully tried the following actions:

1.- Cleaning thouroughly the screen: NOK
2.- Soft Reset: NOK
3.- Hard Reset: NOK
4.- Giving it a couple of weeks to see if it fixes itself: NOK
5.- Installing the last updates (06.07.10): NOK

I am going to try to get a replacement, this is frustrating
