I had to have my Pre replaced about 2 weeks after I got it (no sound) Now when I plug it in, it doesnt have the "Media Sync" option.  1st phone had that.  Any ideas?

Do you mean when you use the USB cable between the Pre and the computer?

1. Try a luna reboot first.
2. If it's connected to the charger...does it show the charging icon?
3. If it does, plug it to your computer...does it give the three options on your Pre (Media Sync, USB Drive, and Just Charge)?  If nothing shows up, you could have a defective cable.

what is a luna reboot?  It only shows just charge and usb when I plug it in.  I'm using the original cable.  They just gave me the phone at replacement

Simultaneously press orange key, sym key, and "R". 

Are you able to transfer files using the USB cable?

oh I forgot, if you just upgraded to 1.4 then:
1. go to "Device Info"
2. go to the "Preferences" menu on the top left
3. tap "Enable Media Sync"
 

 
It might be turned "off" after upgrading..
