Had a treo - love palm - looks like it's been harder to pull my old calendar, tasks, etc. into the Pre directly; but no problem in the sense it's nice to start somewhat fresh.  Used outlook to drag some of that old stuff into g-mail.  Have been reluctant to turn everything over to google; I keep hoping yahoo gets its act together...so:
1) should i abandon yahoo, so that I don't get too much e-mail nonsense thru the pipe?
2) am I wrong to think 'memos' function is a little weak?
3) anyone found a good way to store passwords (used to have 'em all on a memo)?
Thanks

the functionality to integrate with google is great - which includes gchat in the messenger app (don't think you get yahoo messaging).

the memos is very weak, but i'm sure there are/will be apps that do a better job of memo-ing.

there is a secureID app that will hold all your passwords and yup - it's password protected Smiley

hope that helps.

i just took a look at categories...  you can't put in a category, but you can put in a "Company" and sort on that.  you could type in 'Restaurant' for all of your food places, 'Hotel' for all the hotels, etc.  then under Preferences & Accounts you can sort your list by "Company & Last Name".  that might be a decent workaround for the time being.

great idea -- last question:  I see appointments entered on Pre automatically go to Google calendar; and you just have to hit 'sync' to get appts pushed Google to Pre; how about 'tasks'..either direction, do they not sync?
