I hate to admit it but I miss my Instinct. This is the second Pre I've had & both had the same issues. The accelerometer is screwy, sometimes the screen will flip completely upside down & will stay that way. Sometimes the screen will change to landscape view for no good reason. The screen blacking out is the worst problem however. When attempting to enter my password for voicemail, the screen constantly blacks out when my finger gets anywhere near the dialer pad. It's almost comical trying to catch the keypad before it blacks out. It goes back & forth continuously. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking of going for the Samsung Moment or HTC Hero. There are some positives about the Pre, but the bad outweigh the good. I'm disappointed there is not onscreen keyboard since the keyboard is so tiny. I hate the fact you cannot forward texts also. I do however like the fact you can have multiple apps open at one time, that was one downside to the Instinct.
I just thought of one other major problem. Sometimes I can't disconnect from a call because the screen is totally black. The phone won't even power off when this happens. I'm concerned since this is the 2nd one I've had, they will all be like this. Any suggestions?
