I got the palm pre plan from Bell Canada last August. It's been a terrible experience using the phone for the past year. In three days after I got the phone, it went dead and I was given a new phone. I hoped that I can live with it for 3 years, but it turns out I couldn't.

The phone is really terrible, although the UI is very neat (which is what appealed to me), but the functions are very bad. The battery goes out so quickly, I have to charge  it every day from (5:30PM to 7:00AM) and it dies out quickly in day time. I have to bring the charger with me all the time, otherwise you will suffer from it being dead anytime.

Lots of bazzard issue happened in last year. It bothers me very much. Sometimes it goes dead suddenly, and I have to reset it. Sometimes the screen goes black without reasons. Sometimes it gets very very hot.

I know some people would recommend to talk to Bell people to get a new one. But, you know what, the stories will still remain.

I really want to get rid of this plan with Bell, but I have another 2 years to go with its contract, and terminating the contract will cost me another 400 dollars. I'm looking for valuable advice on how to terminate plans with Bell, at least get rid of Palm Pre plans with a different plan and a different phone.

Could anybody give some suggestions on how to handle this situation?

If no solutions found, I have to live it for another 2 years and will  never use Bell/Palm Pre any more.
