New to the board.
Just had my Pre replaced cause of the notorious screen crack. Man, I needed those pictures that were on that phone, but the touch screen was not working after the crack. I asked them serveral times, what is holding the pic, and all the data, a memory chip, and small hdd....anything! She said that it was soldered to the board. At that time, I just wanted the phone back and I will do what it takes to get those pics. A friend of mine (who by the way hacks the hell out of the G1) said if I could hook up the Pre to the computer, I could get to a command prompt some how and get the files off that way. Is is possible? Or should i say was possible.
