I don't know that anyone needs a song recognition program...really wants would be a better way of phrasing it.   Grin  I am sure someone out there is working on this.

i don't think palm has released the mic sampling api that allows you to use the mic to "listen" yet.  i'm sure they will soon, which will make a lot of improvements (i.e. voice activation, voice commands, etc).

We will get Shazam I think, the question is when. I think this has already been posted, it's the answer I got:

This is what I've heard as well. It won't take long after they release the API until we start seeing a crap ton of apps like that.
