BriZimm--I just sent you an IM with more detailed instructions.  Your going to have to do some manual work, but probably not as much as you think.

I don't think info freely available on the internet and "donated" by users for use can be construed as stealing.  Go for it.

I didn't have time to read through all 5 pages, so sorry if my ideas are repeats. But I think these would be nice:

1. A state lottery app would be cool.  One that allows you to set the certain lotteries that you track, and provides the latest winning numbers, and current jackpot amounts.  I know someone put out a lottery number generator, that could be part of the app as well.
2. A recipe app for the cooking enthusiasts.
3. I really enjoy multiplayer games, like battleship or dominoes.
4. A ringtone editor app that allows you to use the mp3's on your Pre, and edited them from the unit.

Thats it for now.

Id like to see a way to color code items on your schedule/reminders.  Ie.  Kids sports event =BLUE...WORK=Red...family....Kids Day off school=GREEN.  Just a way to customize calendar events a bit more so when you look at a months worth of days in one screen you can get the big picture of what you have going on.

For someone who walks a lot like me an app. that uses GPS technology to keep track of the exact distance you've walked would be great.

When you start your walk hit a start button, when you're finished hit the end button and wahla---the total time and distance you've traveled.

Could be a useful app. for measuring out distances like how far it is (in miles) to the nearest Pizza Hut or (in feet) the distance of my back yard from the road to the fence, etc.

...Just a thought.

I think that won't be a very difficult task.. I've just used SportsTracker for Nokia Symbian N95 recently while sailing. I could even export it to .gpx and see my course on the lake in Google Earth. That's a must, and I think very possible because it just needs the data from the GPS API. Only exporting to gpx probably requires some knowledge.

Ok, couple of ideas..

First, I'm DYING to have an app for Weight Watchers, like they came out with for iphone.. blasted iphone. I know that's a company/corporate kind of thing, but it has to start somewhere, and maybe someone reading this has the power to do something about it. WW mobile (just the website) doesn't cut it.

Second, I'm totally shocked there's no mileage tracker! NO, not the stupid mileage thing that is currently in the apps catalog, which is really just a fuel efficiency calculator, based on your tank fill-ups and miles per tank. NO- I'm looking for a business-oriented mileage tracker, for tracking business-related driving, even possibly assigning trips to specific clients, totaling for the pay period/month, etc. Something faster and easier than writing it on a log on a clipboard in my car each day.

Lastly (for now), I need a voicemail transcription app-- people leave voice messages (the most worthless and annoying thing in the world: calling in to check messages just to hear, 'hey, just giving you a call, call me back.' seriously? what is caller ID for?) - I need to be able to see the message, in text format, as an email, SMS, pop-up note, I don't care. I just don't have time and can't listen to messages while in meetings.

Whew.. glad I got those off my chest. Can someone work on those please? Smiley Thanks!

I agree with you. I use the notepad and I have no problem with it. However, the features that I like is to link my bank account to BOA site.
