Wow I really don't know where to begin. How many of you are having issues with your Touchstone charger? This is a list of what I've already encountered in the 48 hours of owning this accessory.

1. Pre still thinks it begin charged when recoved from the TS. Even after 30 min being removed from the TS only the time is being displayed on the face and when I tap out of it I can see the 'charging' icon on the top right. Only fix so far is to do a reboot of my Pre.

2. Woke up this morning to a completely dead Pre. I have no idea what happened. I had to disconnect the USB from my puck and plug in the Pre to revive it. Frustrating.

3. When charging, the 'now charging' (whatever that display is) will show at the very bottom of my Pre and clear and then reappear OVER and OVER again, each time this happens the default Pre sound happens to kindly remind you that it's charging. VERY annoying. The only way I got around this to move the slider to 'silent' mode. In the meantime I'm still stuck with the 'now charging' flashing on and off.

Any of you experience these issues? This thing is really annoying me! I really love the concept but its soooooo buggy! HELP!  Sad

I never got #1.
I got #2 once. Turned out I had a reminder "going" that I put on snooze and never dismissed it.
I get #3 once in a while. It means the Pre is not settled correctly onto the touchstone. It needs to be straight.

What you could try: put a few layers of paper (e.g. fold a normal paper 2 times = 4 layers) between the Pre and the touchstone. 100% of our people here had success with that, it's probably a quite poor build quality inside.

Wow, that's gonna look so cool  Undecided

Thanks for the tip.

It's not supposed to be a long-term solution, but this way you can find out what if it's defective.

The little booklet that came with the Touchstone seems to be doing the job.

Does anyone know what the diagram for step 4 (c) means at all?

Return the touchstone, as it is a cool feature...seems to be a hassle.  I'll get one when they fix the issues with it.

2 days and no issue with mine.  I had Invisible Shield full body so it's on the back plate.  Very easy for me to get it right on there and charges very quickly.  I know some have said about buffering it from the touchstone...I guess the Invisible Shield will do that for me even if there was an issue to be...

I bought mine today, together with a friend. Mine works (woah, I was lucky, finally), my friend had to return it because of a constant "ding-dong". I repeat myself, but those stones have such a sh*tty quality, it's unbelievable.

The shield raises the Pre a little bit, that should be enough distance for the problem not to appear.

I just got the TS for Christmas and had the same problem with it charging for a second and then dropping the charge and doing this over and over again whilke making the tone. I took the back cover off of the phone and GENTLY rubbed the copper connections that touch the back of the phone with a pencil eraser. This is a little trick I learned while working in IT fields. We would do this with the read/write heads on hard drives.

Anyways, my TS works fine for the past few days with no problems. Hope this helps!
