They do look pretty obsurd...plus you I would forget who made my phone if I didnt have the snazzy Palm logo on the back!
I think that I will get the 3800 batt pack. And it only goes takes the pre from 6.7 of an inch to to 1" which is not that bad when you look at it. It will only be a tad thicker than the Palm Treo 700p. Anyways I going for the long distance perfomance which that battery will give before a recharge. I can always find a pouch that will fit it, as there's so many to choose from. IF someone has tested the 2800 batt or the 3800 battery pack from Fommy.com please post up a small review. Thank you so much for your reply's Wink

Sorry folks I think I have posted in the wrong area...but here is my opinion on the nakedcellphone 3800 battery pack from ebay.
I'am not a sellsman for this company , I'm just a regular here on this forum.

I received my Innocell 2600 extended battery yesterday from Amazon.com and charged it overnight.  It came with a 44% charge which wasn't bad.  I've used my phone moderately today, a few calls, texting, email, 4-5 open programs, and at 4:15 pm, I still have an 90% charge!  That is awesome!  With the OEM battery, it would drain fast and I would have to charge it by 2:30ish each day.  Even at night, the battery would drain to around 40-50%, which I think is awful.  I always worried about the short battery life and having to charge it multiple times during the day.

My Pre is thicker but I actually like the heftier shape.  It fits better in my hand, I have a better grip of the phone.  The extra width makes it easier to slide the keyboard open.  I like the soft rubberized back, it sticks to surfaces better and doesn't slide around.  Plus, fingerprints don't show.  I had an old phone case for my Mogul and the thicker Pre fits perfectly inside.

So far, I'm glad I spent the extra money for the extended battery.

Edit:  A quick update...at 10:30 pm last night, the battery charge was at 80%!  That included more web browsing, FB, more emails, and watching TV.  I definitely won't have to worry much now that my battery will go dead and having to charge it during the day.

Any review on the 1400mah from Amzer?  I am sticking with the touchstone battery door so I can use my touchstone, the two options I have are the Amzer 1400 or the Seidio 1350.  Obviously, I want the higher mah so I last longer, but I want to hear opinions....
