Hi

Soon I will be at a music festival (see www.lowlands.nl for those who are curious) for three days with no access to mains power during the (long) days. I was looking for a battery pack that can charge my Pre and possibly has some left for my wife's HTC Legend. I see many handsome choices but most do not provide enough current (I think I need 1000mA) or total capacity (like 10Wh).

I was quite impressed with the specs of the APC UPB10 (discontinued) and the Prestigio powerbank 501 (bulky)  Anyone has good experiences with such a device? Fyi any candidate should be available in the Netherlands.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Regards Jan.

Well I am bit flabbergasted by the reply from javiercrumbley. Perhaps it was ment for another thread?

Anyways I have purchased the Justmobile Pro. I think it is a very useful device that allows me to charge my Pre quickly and several times on a single load. It is the Justmobile Gum Pro. It has 4400MAh capacity and a 1000mA output @ 5V. Also it is very small so it ticks all the boxes. Only drawback is its less than elegant design. For this they have the Gum Plus that intends to match the Iphone design. As a Pre owner I do not think this justifies the additional $20. But at least one has a choice.

See http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/just-mobile-gum-and-gum-pro-portable-usb-power-packs/ for a review.
