PC world has a decent artilce, but I thought the comments from acutal users was more informative, so I am posting this link. If you read one of the reviews the user states that he can even type in different languages on the device, which I found interesting to know. I probably won't ever use it, but from a business standpoint, I bet it's a great tool.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/166274/pre_hunt_in_search_of_the_elusive_new_palm_device.htmlI wanted to point out comment #17 . Here's an exerpt from the comment:
"I also type international characters quite a lot, and on my Treo755p cell phone, I use the ALT button to get at them.
However, the letters variations are limited. For example, I can't type Russian or full Vietnamese on it. Nor Chinese characters.
But on the Pre, if you hit 'sym' button once, you get extra characters. AND, if you hit it twice, a screen keyboard shows up
with fully internationalized characters list. So, I guess the Pre will be handy for me to study Russian, since my work place
are mostly expatriate Russian IT developers."
I've decided that I'm going to read more user's comments from here on out, because they seem to be the MOST informative and accurate since they are using the phones full-time.
Hope this helps everyone.
P.S. I still haven't gotten mine.
