I just tried erasing my Pre, and nothing happened!   Undecided

I am getting an error message whenever I try to install an App. Look here -->http://www.palmpreforum.org/index.php?topic=2415.msg27054#msg27054

So I thought the best thing to do was to reset my Pre. I went to "Manage My Device" on the Palm website and selected "Erase Device" The website told me my request was accepted and my Pre would be cleared, but 12 hours later nothing has happened. Is remote wipe supposed to work? Why isn't my Pre wiped? Anyone else successfully wiped their Pre remotely?

Thats not how you reset your phone anyway.  Go to Device info on your phone... its probly your last page.  Scroll down after you open it and go to reset options.  It gives you the choice of full erase or partial erase.  If that doesnt work there are a few other reset options.  But wipe online is for if your phone got lost.

You could try this:

http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/pre/recoverytool/webosdoctor_sprint.html

Should set it back to how it was from the factory.
