Mine was off by 5 minutes this morning. I rely on the Pre as my alarm clock in the morning to get to work. I just noticed this morning that it was behind by 5 minutes. I know it's not a huge difference, but I thought the point of the "Network Time" was that it gets the correct time from the network if it ever goes off.
Luckily I looked at the other clocks around the house and realized the true time.

did you ever think maybe all of your other clocks might be wrong?  Wink  maybe your house is set up like doc emmit brown's?  haha!

I have never noticed the time being off on mine, but I dont use it as an alarm either, but here is a thread that talked about it...

No, this is a problem that I had faced on one of me Pres.  I daresay I probably am the only person in this forum that went through the most Pres.  Anyways, I had the time problem but instead of it being slower, it would speed up for some unknown reason.  Even when I try to manually set the time to sync it to the correct time, after an hour or two, it would be 5~10 minutes faster...2nd hour, 20 min faster...3rd hour, 30 min faster.  And having it on network time didn't work either, time would speed up on the phone.  Yes, it seemed that my Pre exists outside of our time-space continuum.

I suggest you exchange it.

I know it's a little different but my first pre would sometimes show the wrong date on the little calendar icon. I have a new one and it doesn't know it anymore so it's obviously the particular pre's error

Last week, I was displaying the analog clock using the built-in Clock program, and it was exactly one minute faster than the digital time on the status bar at the top of the Pre's screen. So, yes, there is something definitely wrong with the Pre's ability to display the correct time.

Maybe it was just a one time glitch... that was the only time the time was off for me. After changing the time, then resetting, the time seems to be fine and I haven't had any more time issues since.

i never payed attention to this but after reading numerous topics about this i payed more attention and i realized that sometimes it was off by about a min or 2 with my computer, my computer is synced time.windows.com

Every morning my time seems to be approx. 3 minutes FAST.

I have it set to use network time.

I took it back to the Sprint store and they just told me to reboot it.   Embarrassed

I did and it displayed the correct time. 

Maybe I need to reboot as a matter of ritual every morning when I get up.

I'm actually wondering if it's not a touchstone charger issue.

You should reset your pre once a day anyways for it to run smooth

Is there any ways to program it to reset on it's own, like at 4 in the morning so I don't have to wait for it to turn on...I'm very impatient lol. I know the blackberry has this.
