what do you use? I just use windows media player.

Seriously, does apple really think that by not allowing us to use itunes that it's a big enough incentive for us to go to At&t?? We'll still get our music on our phones through different methods, if anything it may make people just more annoyed at them.

Well it turns out that with the new version (9) of itunes, released yesterday, is not compatible with pre, so at least for now apple has successfully excluded Palm.

This whole thing just drives me nuts. I have an ipod (and with over 100 million units sold who doesn't) and had been using itunes, but honestly aside from the sync problems I have had over the years with making it work properly between my home computer and my work, this has just left a bad taste in my mouth and I am going to switch over to a better media player, probably doubletwist or mediamonkey.

So in the end all that Apple has succeeded in doing is losing a customer that has spent money with them for years. And hell, I might even buy a Zune when I want to beef up to a 120g + model... eh probably not lol.

I guess I just don't get Apple's business vision that purposely excludes other customers buying from them!?!  I may be an oddball, but their policy just doesn't provide me an incentive to rush out to buy any of their products.  There are plenty of other ways to buy music and download it to my Palm Pre, or any of my other phones I have ever had.
