Hey, I just wanted to check if anyone else is having trouble with their Pre switching from portrait to landscape mode while on the web app.

I was walking around a store today surfing the web and my screen started freaking out.  At first when I turned the phone horizontally the screen switched to landscape mode just fine.  Then after going back and forth a few times the phone started flipping the screen upside down.  After a couple min I found myself holding the Pre upside down just to read the web pages in portrait mode.  It got rather annoying when I had to type stuff into web pages and the phone was backward, requiring me to turn the phone back and forth just to type.  It was almost comical in a sad kinda way.

Other then this crazy moment, a wiggly hinge connecting the two pieces of the phone, and lackluster battery life, the phone has been great!  Grin

Ya that happens to me too, just turn and leave the phone upright for a while.

My phone just did that today for the first time.  Had rotated the phone a couple times, and the web page was upside down.   Had to rotate it a few more times to see proper viewing mode.

Has anyone found out what this problem is and what is causing it and how to correct it?

I have a friend at work that is on her second one because the first had the "oreo" issue and I had her take it back.  Now she has had this one for a month or so and it is flipping her web browser and opens the web sometimes when she taps another app.

Thanks

I just figure it is very sensitive to my hand movements. I move it more deliberately and it seems to sense what I want. Just like Obi-Wan...
