No it doesn't but you can add that as a tweak using WebOS Quick Install. And there are a bunch of other really cool tweaks, patches and apps that you can add on using this, super cool and really easy.

Actually...

there is no way to tell if the update will include this feature...

the leaked build of 1.2 obviously wasnt the final version, or else they would have released it by now...

Like stated in another thread, WebOs 1.2 will have more features than just the ones that were leaked by accident...

so there really is no telling what the final version of the update will include...

I have a feeling that the only thing they are "finalizing" in this update is fixing the sync with iTunes...  :Smiley

I really really hope so! My first statement to this issue a couple of weeks ago was "I couldn't care less", but as a Mac user I'm thinking a little different now. I really want permanent iTunes sync.

I just won't deal with iTunes.  Let Apple exclude all but their loyal drones.  "overspecialize and you breed in weakness"

Why settle for an Apple when you can have a Palm?

You probably are a Windows user? I absolutely agree then, there are enough alternatives. But it's a totally different story for Mac users, like I said. iTunes runs a lot better, faster, smoother and is well integrated. It's actually a good player if you know how to deal with it. But Windows = screw iTunes.

I was being facetious with my comment   Cheesy , hopefully they are using the time to add more features.  I do still believe that they held off on releasing the update because of the iTunes update though, too much of a coincidence that it happened the same day.

I, too, believe they are not just focusing on the Itunes thing during the delay. I have a feeling that they may be adding things that were not originally planned for 1.2 but close to being finalized before the Itunes announcement. Palm knew Apple would be blocking them in their new update, they just needed it to be released to do something about it.
