I know there is a way to specify a text message tone for individual people because I had it working before Sprint replaced my phone. Now I can not find how to do it. All I can fond on here are hacks and preware and old posts. I don't want to install any of that crap. can someone help? Thanks!

I do not think you can. You can set any tone for All texts, but I'm pretty sure they can not be done individaully.
