A while a go I lost my Pre and couldn't find it so I ordered a new one and am now using it.
Recently, I found my original lost phone which seems to be deactivated because it requires you to sign into your Palm Profile but you can't because it says that you are not connected to your service provider's network (because Sprint cut off data to the phone I assume.)

sooo... my question is if I can sell my "found" phone since I don't need 2 phones?

Is your "found" pre paid in full or an insurance claim?

If paid in full....clear the ESN with Sprint so you can sell it.

If an insurance claim...technically it's owned by the insurance company. I don't know if they want it back either...probably cost them more money to handle it...so maybe you get to keep it. Either way check with Sprint...they might just clear the ESN as valid.

...plz advise back...inquiring minds want to know!

The "found" Pre has a clean ESN. So now I have 2 Pres that I am going to sell soon.
I successfully preordered the iphone 4 at an at&t store yesterday.
After my number is ported I will have to rid myself of that stupid ETF from Sprint.
