Q: Will I be able to surf the internet while on the phone?
A: Not at first.  Ev-DO Rev A does not have that capability.
Added first one... second one has already been added.

Well, for the international users you could point out that only the US Ev-DO version is not capable of that. The GSM UMTS version will be.

I think the proximity sensor will do more than stop from your face pressing things on the screen but probably also "butt-dialing"(Which Blackberry is popularizing with their ad campaign for the flip-pearl)

I'd never put a phone in by back pocket and sit on it! I don't know who does that?! Shocked

I dunno I keep it in my front pockets or a case. Admittedly though, I've had times where my keys or my thigh accidentally pushed keys. Oh and a tight side case. There been a few time I pull my phone out to see it on with "pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp" in the search field on my main screen.

possibly add that the 3.5 mm headphone jack can also be used as a AUX jack to stream media from youtube/ pandora and play through car speakers or home sound systems. I was unaware of this until i plugged into my head unit AUX port just like my ipod. Key feature for music fans and those who want to travel with the party!
