I had a pre from shortly after release until a few weeks ago. If you think the pre is slow try a blackberry. Sure wish I had kept my pre  Cry

I have to agree, it was a mistake. I do not have the problems you describe, just differant ones. I got my first just Pre over a year ago and everything seemed to work fine except the gps, which could not lock on ALOT. Since then I have had a few replacements and now I am having problems sending pictures that I took with the phone to other cell phones. I get a message from sprint saying file size too big. If thats so why can't I change the size so I can send the pics. I download pdf files and when i try to zoom in so I can actually read the document it says Error, rendered document failed. I cannot transfer videos taken with the phone to my computer, just the sound comes on. I did not have these problems with the original Pre, and now the same problems with several replacements so I don't think it is the indivual phone. Seems to me it's a software issue having to do with updates. Maybe HP wants to sell downloads to use standard features that came with the phone, either way if these issues aren't resolved I will not be keeping this phone.

My pre likes to make calls on its own and after it is plugged into the charger for a while and is fully charged, leaving it plugged in causes a discharge to start and often leaves me with a dead phone in the morning.
