It's been posted....and I've ranted every time. Why change now, eh?
There have been no official announcements pertaining to making video available on the Pre. All of the 'it WILL have video soon' has come from forums and rumor site. It has the ability to have video in the future, but I don't see it happening before the end of the year(if it does, I'm fine with that). Flash 10 Mobile is scheduled to be released in beta in Oct, but that doesn't mean the Pre will have Flash then. As for when the updates are coming....be patient. Palm has spoiled us with frequent updates since release. Don't get used to that. They have a European release to get ready for. Plus, updates take time. Best guess right now is the end of Sept/early Oct, which is right before it should be released in Europe.
Short version:
Be patient. The phone has only been out for FOUR MONTHS!
