I'm so worried about dropping my Pre, that I don't even use it.  I have a drawer in my dresser that I keep my Pre in.  I have in the leather case, wrapped in a towel and the drawer is full of bubble wrap and packing peanuts.  I keep the box on the dresser so I can see what a great phone I have!

I refuse to be completely paranoid about my phone. I'm obviously not careless, but it also gets a little ridiculous to me. You might as well just get a cheap phone if you're going to spend your whole time with the pre freaking out and stressing about hurting it. Actually, just the other night I got a little scratch in the corner of my screen and while it bugs me to death, but I get over it and my phone still works all the same and it isn't fun to be so tense.

Same here. Check out any of my previous phones and they all look like they've been through hell, and I'm not that hard on them. Every day use will eventually take it's toll on a phone. I did get an IS for my Pre though....just to prolong it's scratch free life just a little.

Same here. It's a phone not a glass statue. It's a $200 phone at that. I'm just pissed that it took that damage so easily, either poor design or poor luck really.

The first night I had the phone it fell out of my pocket onto my painted concrete balcony and got scratched to hell on the back cover, it also would have falled 3 floors if I didn't have my $10 net up for my little dog to not fall through.
