I dropped my pre last night leaving the bathroom in my apartment and it nailed the tile right on the power button in the top corner. Sad So basically the button is mashed in and while still technically works (just gotta press it a little harder then before) it's broken. I'm going to sprint this week to see what they will or won't do for me. I have a feeling some plastic or a spring inside got broken or bent.

Any ideas? I tried prying it lightly up from all directions with no results. I have dropped my phone already before on the outside concrete scratching it a little so i'll probably just tell them I dropped it (probably won't help my case but honesty usually works for me).

when you go to the sprint store to hand the guy your phone, make sure he is close enough then drop it in the "hand off process" and blame it all on him.

Sorry to hear that. You guys really need to be more careful with your devices Wink I guess you can't fix this, I would go to Sprint and ask the guys there what they can do for you. A button should be repairable if the whole case isn't broken.

or, make a phone call, and drop it in a Ziploc bag.

It will overheat, and the phone won't work anymore, and you get a new one...

ahahahhah....

yea, cause ziplocs, especially the freezer ones, if they are closed, they don't let any air, in , or out. So the air inside the bag keeps getting hotter, until it's to hot for the phone.
