cracked screen at work today Angry  Could actually feel it 'bleeding' Cry  Went home and franticaly tried to connect via usb to get the naked pictures of the wife off of there  angel  After a hour, no luck I got desperate and just kept hitting the screen, God smiled and it connected. Went to Sprint and told em my thumb cracked the screen on sliding it. They wanted me to pay the $100 and use insurance. Stood my ground and told em to take it back since I was under my 30 day. I was bluffing of course but they folded and since I tasted blood I complained about having to get 3 Pre's in 3 weeks and went for the battery on the old phone. Score. Got the leather case with 25% off to protect it til I get a new invisibleSHIELD. I used gadgetguard on 2nd Pre from ebay and wasnt happy. But I did get the the skin and a car charger (which works great) for $14.
Stand your ground and try not to pay the deduct. But I would've easily if I had to because I love this phone too damn much!!!!!!!!! Justa a cheapskate Grin

yeah, sometimes you have to call over and over and over again to get the right person with a heart!  i broke my instinct a few weeks before i got the pre, and after calling in about 7 times i got a woman who just sent me a new instinct - no questions asked!

more recently, while i was waiting for my replacement i was forwarding my number so i could still get calls.  i didn't know there was a $0.20/min charge for forwarding.  the sprint store guy told me the number for forwarding, but neglected to mention the charge.  now i have almost $20 of call forwarding charges that i'm trying to get a credit for.  i mean wtf!?  why would call forwarding have a charge anyway???  i only made one call, and the guy denied me.  he sounded very stereotypical on the phone (open to any interpretation you want).  i'll call back today.  i find that the women are more sympathetic than the gentlemen  Wink
